Hello! I am Carl Foss, and I am running for re-election to the Burlington School Committee. I bring a unique perspective and a fresh voice to the committee. I am a graduate of Boston University and have a Master's degree from UMass Lowell in History Education. I am a teacher in Lowell and my wife is a teacher in Lexington. We have two children in third grade and fifth grade at the Pine Glen school. Having taught and served in education roles for 13 years in multiple districts, I am familiar with diverse and effective approaches to policies, procedures and finances. In my first term, I used my expertise in education to build on past success, to identify and overcome new challenges to the district and to advocate for voices that would not otherwise be heard. I look forward to continue to build on and accelerate our accomplishments in Burlington. Please consider giving me one of your two votes on April 1st. Thank you!
